Buying RPGs (and other games) in Winnipeg

I’ve found it hard to find much information on where to get RPGs (DND, d20, World of Darkness, etc.) in Winnipeg. Here are some of the stores that I’ve found.

GameKnight is definitely a small shop. I found out about it via ENWorld. It’s located in the back of Grape and Grain Brew supplies at 978 St Mary’s Road. I chatted with one of the owners, Scott, and it is very easy to tell that he’s an enthusiast. Their selection isn’t huge, but their prices are good (10% off list) and they’re very willing to order stuff in. I’m fairly sure they are open M-W 10-6, Th - Fr 10-10, and Sat 10-4.

Jogo is mainly focused on board games. They do have a small RPG section, but selection is very limited. On the other hand, they’re right across from St. Vital Mall, which makes it very convenient for me. They are at 9-200 Meadowood Drive and their hours seem to be M-Sat 10-9, Sun 12-6.

Pendragon Games doesn’t have a website that I could find. I’ve looked a number of times and can’t seem to find anything online. They are quite large, but they’re downtown (1354 Main & 561 Portage). The location on Main is open M-Th 10-6, F 10-9, Sat 10-6. The location on Portage is open M-Th 10-6, F 12-8, Sat 10-6.

Campaign Outfitters is a little closer than Pendragon but it doesn’t have quite as large of a selection. It’s located at #15-584 Pembina Highway and is open M-Th 10-7, F 10-9, Sat 10-6, Sun 12-5.

Chapters and other bookstores tend to have at least some RPG books.

Here are a few more from the ENWorld boards Comments are those made there

McNally Robinson Booksellers Portage Place and Grant Park.
Face Off Sportscards, Phone: (204)832-3921 3043 Ness Avenue - mediocre selection, but quite cheap compared to Pendragon and Campaign Outfitters, and the stock new books quite quickly.
