Leviticans

Jaimie and I have a lot of discussions on what it means to be a Christian. I’m still trying to figure out if there’s a way of being a Christian without believing every word is the Bible applies to our lives today while not just throwing out whatever I disagree with. The best answer I have to date is viewing the Bible as a series of case studies of what God did/said in particular situations. It’s not a terribly satisfying answer. Anyhow, John Scalzi has an interesting essay that categorizes a number of people as being Leviticans instead of the Christians they purport to be.
