Dealing with Unfounded Criticism

I was reading this Kids, the Internet, and the End of Privacy: The Greatest Generation Gap Since Rock and Roll the other day and thinking about International Pixel-Stained Technopeasant Day. It seems to me that some of the approaches described in the first article are being used in the second. Rather than avoiding the label, these writers are seizing it and making it their own. This is nothing new - I’ve seen it done any number of ways but it’s always fun to watch (unless you’re the one giving the off-the wall criticism).
