GeoPic II geotags your Nikon shots
I’ve been thinking about something along the lines of GeoPic II for the office. It would be useful to know exactly where and when photos are taken, particularly for damage claims. Now to actually get a digital camera for the office…

Good plan - I have one of these and they are awesome. I checked out the other offerings out there and they dont seem to have any intelligence in them - i.e. they just send raw GPS data to the camera. One of the problems people were saying about the other ones was that the camera was stuck in metering mode whenever they were connected. The GeoPic II doesnt have that problem (due to ‘patent pending technology’) and so you save loads of power with them. The freeze mode is really cool too - just switch modes and you can now happily go indoors and geotag, out of sight of the satellites. Nice.
