The floor to the building with the gargoyles fell way into a pit with black liquid flowing down the sides. Whyd tossed a light down the hole, reveealing a pit about 70 feet deep. jd4 and Lia worked out a rope system to safely lower the party down. They found four trapdoors on a small island surrounded by the black liquid.
Whyd disarmed one trapdoor after another but opening them showed only bedrock beneath. As she opened the last last door, it exploded. The light from the explosion revealed an indentation in the wall to Lia’s keen eyes. Whyd put light on TheBeast’s teeth and pants and he vaulted skilfully through the hole.
The party entered a large chamber with a giant green orb spinning in the centre. As some of the more arcane-minded party members worked on disabling it, undead attacked. Despite pit traps, re-spawning undead, an flaming skull, the party managed to destroy the orb.
When the party moved out of the pit, they say that the Feywild was restored. Their efforts saved the world.
