waiting I had a bad feeling when I found out that I had the Tuesday before Wrath off.  Sure enough, realms are down "until they’re ready."  Ah well, I got my grandma’s picnic furniture moved, had a nap, read, and have generally managed to pass the time agreeably.  Now to do some extra housecleaning while I continue to wait.

Working At Home - The Office

In DeHamerspace ยป Working At Home - The Office he describes how he set up a shed to serve as his office. I’m not sure how practical this would be for a Manitoba winter, but it’s at least something to consider should I ever have the need to set up a home office. The other nice thing is that such an office would be somewhat portable. Unfortunately, he didn’t say how much it cost him to set it up.

This is the kind of setup I’d like to get eventuallyfor my computer: Burn 600 Calories a Day Typing. I’m likely going to work towards it in increments. My next step is going to be a standing desk - I hope to build that this summer. Then we’ll see how I like it.

Building A Basic Work Bench
I wonder how hard it would be to adapt this for a computer desk? On a related note, IKEA: Real furniture kids can build is a good idea for projects for kids. Too bad we don’t have an Ikea nearby - I’d be tempted to get some furniture of the kids to build on dull days in winter.
